The Five Kingdoms Mini Book:

Create a mini book about the five kingdoms. Use the following questions to find 2-3 characteristics for each kingdom. For each kingdom draw 2-3 pictures as examples or to provide more information. Label all important information. Don’t forget to include a title page and your name, eg; “The Five Kingdoms” By: __(your name)____.

Animal Kingdom:

1.) Are organism in the animal kingdom multicellular or unicellular?

2.) Do organisms in this kingdom make their own food or do they get their food from their environment?

3.) What is the difference between vertebrates and invertebrates.

Plant Kingdom:

1.) Can organisms in the plant kingdom move?

2.) How do they make their food?

3.) What is the difference between flowering and non-flowering plants?

Monera:

1.) Are organisms in the monera kingdom multicellular or unicellular?

2.) Are they sexual or asexual organisms?

3.) Monerans are prokaryotic, what does this mean?

Protists:

1.) Are protists multicellular or unicellular organisms?

2.) Protists are eukaryotic, what does this mean?

Fungi:

1.) How do fungi reproduce?

2.) Are fungi eukaryotic or prokaryotic?

3.) What do fungi feed on?
